Usage

Counter flow cooler is the equipment that is used to cool down and dehumidify the hot and moist pellets coming out of the pellet mill. In other words, it transforms the hot and moist pellets into the cooler and relatively drier pellets.

Significance of cooling & dehumidification

Pellets coming out of pellet mill are hot, moist, soft and are easily breakable. They can catch fungus if stored as it is. It becomes essential to cool them down and dehumidify them to improve their shelf life, make them less prone to breakage and easy to transport. Therefore, a machine called counter flow cooler is needed that cools and dehumidifies the pellets.
